The XCollar extrication collar
The XCollar is a cervical stabilization system designed to provide the highest level of patient cervical mobility restriction. It is most effective for extrications or when moving and transporting patients from the scene of an accident to a medical facility. It conforms to the patient's body type with great flexibility and has unique patented mobility restraining features. These features allow for precise and fast on-patient sizing at time of application. The XCollar and its procedures of application comply with all recognized emergency protocols and standards of care. This device must be used in accordance with local medical directives. The XCollar accomodates a larger variety of patient sizes and reduces the range of cervical movement during stabilization, packing and transportation of patients. Double sided adjustability provides for symmetry when stabilizing larger and/or smaller patients. The XCollar has 28 vertical settings that enbable custom fitment of differing body types. Additionaly, the side-to-side adjustment straps can be used to secure the patient in the position of comfort.
The XCollar is designed for single patient use. Reusing the XCollar is not consistent with most health standards and local protocols. Please adhere to these guidelines.
